Grade Level Points Format
A-grade level 450-500 web-based, CD-ROM
Content includes many of the following:
  • List of relevant courses, including professor's name, textbook, course description, and course syllabus
  • Selected course work, including assignments, projects, and other graded work
  • Autobiographical personal statement, including strengths and weaknesses, relevant personal experiences, past history, relevant skills, etc.
  • Career goals, including an explanation of how your education has led to your career choices
  • Standardized test scores, potentially including GRE, SAT, CBEST, MCAT, LSAT, etc.
  • Letters of recommendation from faculty, colleagues, peers, previous employers, co-workers
  • Video/ audiotapes of classroom presentations, faculty interactions, co-worker interviews Independent research
  • Graphics of relevant ideas, documents, experiences
  • Annotated links to schools, courses, books, topics, career information, career guidance, etc.
  • Copies of conversations with faculty via e-mail
B-grade level 400-449 rough electronic portfolio which is web-based and is burned onto a CD-ROM
  • Includes all aspects of C-grade level performance
C-grade level 350-399 paper-and-pencil portfolio
  • Some past papers, some information about previous courses, some course syllabi and some course assignments
